Casa Vitae Villas is a renovated old Venetian castle house. It was built in the late 16th, early 17th century and there is speculation that it was the residence of a nobleman – maybe even the Venetian governor It is located in the old city of Rethymno, thus it is just 3 minutes’ walk from the museums, the Venetian fortress, the Venetian harbor, the shops, the restaurants, the cafes, and all other entertainment venues. Unique in its style, Casa Vitae Villas is one of the very few detached buildings in the old town with a Venetian courtyard for the guests to relax and enjoy their breakfast or drinks. The Villas maintain the historical Venetian style of their epoch and are airy and spacious, all facing to the villas courtyard. In these Villas , history tends to combine the Venetian with the Ottoman architecture. Yet, the villas are fully equipped to provide the visitor with an ambient environment that merges the romance of the Venetian era together with the picturesqueness of Crete and the comforts of our modern times.

Our team is highly experienced in the hospitality area. Our main goal is to make sure our guests have an unforgettable vacation in our Villas and our town. We will always have the time to recommend great site seeing locations, magical beaches and of course great restaurants with Cretan traditional plates. We are in hospitality because we love meeting new people from all over the world and exchanging experiences.

Casa Vitae Villas are located in a quite neighborhood in the heart of the old town. By foot one can see all local famous landmarks as long as museums, restaurants and all shopping stores. Previous guests loved the fact that although thy where in the heart of the old town, our Villas offered privacy and a tranquil environment.
