The kitchen is fully equipped with everything needed to prepare and preserve a delicious meal, that can be served in the dining area that comfortably seats 4 people. The bathroom’s shower cabinet is equipped with a waterfall and hydro jet column that helps you relax after a long day out. If you need to get work done, there is a laptop-friendly workspace with a large desk and dedicated lighting. The apartment offers free 300 Mbps WiFi, central heating, and air conditioning. A washer/dryer combo unit and ironing facilities are also available.

Your hosts are Mary-Ellen, an opera singer, and Kostas an architect. Kostas designed the renovation of the apartment, while Mary-Ellen added her personal touch in decorating it. Having traveled to more than 60 countries and numerous cities between the two of us, we have firsthand experience of what a traveler is looking for when selecting accommodations. The neighborhood is unusually quiet for such a central location. It’s adjacent to Ilisia Park, one of its entrances being opposite our building’s entrance. The park is a 50-acre forest, with multiple paths for hiking, jogging, or just taking a relaxing stroll. In the park, you can enjoy outdoor activities all year round. In the surrounding area, you find bakeries, mini markets, supermarkets, pharmacies, banks and ATMs, hairdressers, gyms, cafes, taverns, restaurants, bars, and everything else you might require to make your stay pleasant. A wide range of all-day and nightlife options are available nearby. A 10-minute walk brings you to Megaro Mousikis concert hall, where you can attend quality performances. You can have a picnic at Eleftheria park, or a drink and an after-hour snack at Mavili Square, where you find some of the city’s best-known bars. A few minutes away, near the Hilton and Caravel hotels, you will find some of the city’s most renowned restaurants and small bistro cafés. Not far is the upmarket Kolonaki district, where you can explore the variety of branded stores and hip cafés and bars or just enjoy a walk towards the stunning views of Lycabettus Hill.
