Lovely modern hotel right in centre of Heraklion. Easy walking distance to everything, like the Archaeological Museum, the harbour, the fortress, etc, as well as all the many central restaurants. Hotel was beautifully clean, all the staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was excellent, with a choice of everything you could want.

FranceWe can't say enough good things about the Dom. The location is perfect - steps away from everything but on the quiet side of a small park. Literally dozens of restaurants within a five minute walk, and interesting shopping. The harbour, fortress, and marvellous archeology museum are a 10-15 minute walk. The small hotel is modern, sparkling clean and very well equipped. Staff are lovely and extremely efficient -- daily housekeeping, fresh towels every day. Everyone is friendly, helpful and upbeat. And the buffet breakfasts (included in the price) are fabulous. We paid 100 Euros a night for a 5th floor room with a balcony and view of the water, a terrific price for everything we got.
