The room was very modern and neat. The bed was comfortable. Very peaceful and beautiful nature around and perfect to have a dog with you because big garden around the houses. Kitchen had all you needed to have your cup of coffee in the morning!

Located among a huge garden of lush palms, fruit trees and beautiful flowers in Skala Eressos Village, Heliotopos (meaning “the place of the Sunflowers”) offers studios, 2-roomed apartments and Palm House. All units open to a balcony with garden views. Skala Eressou Beach is approximately 1312 feet of the property. All self-catering units have air conditioning, and a kitchenette with cooking hobs, fridge and kitchenware. They also include a private bathroom with a shower. This beautiful family owned and run property called Heliotopos (meaning "Place of the sunflowers") was lovingly created by my parents. They were both born on this island of Lesvos. It was built in approx 1985 and all the trees, flowers and fruit trees were planted with a vision to create a cool haven in the summer heat. It is one of few properties that is set in a lovely valley that gets the afternoon winds sweeping through in summer, cooling it down. You will find hedgehogs, wild foxes and many birds in the surrounding gardens.
I live between Mytilene and Skala Eressos and love sharing stories with visitors from around the world. I used to own Eressos Travel Agency for 28 years and completely understand international travel and what makes your stay special! Nature and the earth is what noursihes my souls and it is a pleasure to share this property with you!
