A family home, run privately without a reception, -no self check in - ideally situated near the airport and the beautiful beaches of the area but far enough from the very noisy and hectic town centre which is constantly filled with people and traffic. Music from the clubs and cafes can't bother your sleep here! Only the airplanes from the airport which is very near. Beautiful view from our 2nd floor, -no lift- all the way to the neighbouring island of Evia and all the local beauty. Tastefully decorated especially for you with a touch of shaby chic /boho feeling. Here at "Shades of Green" we do our best to be... Green! �Our hot water is heated by a solar heater. �Your shower and washbasin water is reused for the toilet flushers of the rest of the building. �We love our old towels and we use them for your feet and the stubborn stains such as make-up. �We don't use plastic bottles for water. �We use biodegradable straws only. �We offer a fan as an alternative to the existing A.C
I am an English teacher but also a designer of theatrical costumes. I am very artistic and people say I am a "bubbly and colourful" personality. I love interacting with new people and listening to their stories. Hospitality is something I really love.
Within walking distance from a supermarket, bakery, convenience store, pharmacy and only 3klm from our gorgeous busy beach. Easy access to the port of Rafina as well as the airport in more than one ways. (Be ware of taxis as they are not always very reliable.) Ancient sites nearby. Water sports facilities and a hoard of cafes, restaurants, fish taverns, clubs, seaside walks for all tastes. Two floors up, no lift, so be prepared. There's no self check in, so it's mandatory to provide your arrival time as there's no reception and you are running the risk of finding no-one to let you in.
