We were received by Alexandra and her husband in the most warm and welcoming manner. Alexandra came to meet us where we parked our car and our stay from then on was perfect. Location was wonderful with an amazing view to enjoy every morning at breakfast and practically all day. Steps from the water we went sometimes without shoes and back for showers and relaxation. We cannot say enough for the hospitality we received and the location. A magical place, at least for us better than any other spot in Sifnos for quaint and relaxing holidays. The sea was always calm even when the winds were prohibitive for the ships. Would definitely come again.

The apartment have two bedrooms: a master bedroom with a double bed and a TV set and a twin room with two single beds. Both bedrooms have air conditioning units. There is a shower room and a fully equipped kitchen with a dining area. Twice a week the apartments get cleaned and all bed linen and towels are changed. Price: depending on length of stay Local amenities: within walking distance there are two tavernas and one mini-market. Further along the beach there are more tavernas and a couple of pottery shops. The local bus stop and car park is a short 300m walk away. Vathy itself is a car/motorcycle free zone. The main attraction (email hidden) built on the beach. There is a walking trail (one of several on the island), which connects Vathy village to Apollonia, the capital of the island, ( a 7 km drive away). Kamares, the main port, is a 15 km drive away. There is a bus service connecting the port in Kamares and Vathy , as well as taxis. Vathy is a peaceful, motor vehicle free seaside location, ideal for a seaside carefree holiday. The ideal period to visit Vathy is from the beginning of May until the end of October. In high season (mid July to the end of August.

Also, I love walking on the famous picturesque paths of Sifnos and making handicrafts with natural objects that I find around the island. Fishing and good greek food is mostly appreciated as well! Our neighborhood is quiet, have a tavern <<To Tsikali>> with excellent cuisine! The beach is small with trees.
