Agus is one of the best hosts I’ve ever met. We had many great conversations and he taught us so much about his village! He helped us arrange a tour to Mt. Ijen as well. The guesthouse was clean and comfortable! Couldn’t have asked for a better stay.

this was the best experience I ever had when choosing a Homestay accommodation! this was like a real home. Agus is the perfect Host. of course we went to see Ijen but I ask him that I want to see something more quite as well so he took us through his village, we met a lot of people and learned some things about the culture. even before we could mention we were hungry he found some snacks for us. the surrounding was very secluded, so we needed to hop on a scooter, I recommend some driving skills if you want to explore something in the area, but most of the places can be reached by food. Agus has lots of interesting storys to tell, a lovely family and a great place to stay. we would always come back here!

• Agus and family are exceptionally very welcoming and friendly. • He brought me around; meeting the well-mannered Osing tribe villagers. • Osing Tribe eagerly preserving their ancestor's elaborate tradition and rituals. • He took me to various plantations (coffee, rubber etc) and even introduced me to a coffee plantation owner. • He invited me to a thankgiving ceremony whereby I managed i to chit chat with villagers around. • The village is clean and progressive.

Agus was really helpful, he showed us his village. We saw a Batik factory, rice fields, rubber trees and coffee plantations, waterfalls, and the famous Kawah Ijen. We felt at home. We taste to really good food. It was a truly authentic experience. We extended our stay to 4 nights.

Agus est un hote parfait, toujours pret pour nous aider et nous guider, et a echanger sur la vie... Il met a disposition une maison complete a cote de la sienne, avec cuisine, salon, deux chambres, toilettes... c'est parfait avant de monter à l'Ijen, 40mn de voiture depuis la maison. Ca fait du bien dans un periple itinerant, et on aurait su, on aurait prevu au moins un jour de plus !

Agus ist ein sehr engagierter Homestay Besitzer, der sich sehr um das Wohlbefinden seiner Gäste kümmert. Er hat uns zum Essen begleitet, erzählt uns viel über sein Dorf und ist an einem Kulturaustausch interessiert. Wir hatten ein ganzes Haus für uns, mit Küche und zwei Schlafzimmer zur Auswahl. Das Bett war sehr gemütlich und es waren reichlich Kissen da. Tee & Kaffee haben wir auch bekommen. Er hat für uns eine kleine Besichtigung einer Luwak Plantage organisiert und den Ijen Trip. Seine Frau hat ein sehr leckeres Frühstück zubereitet.
