Amazing experience. The place is basic, bed and rudimentary bathroom, but the location, the host and the activities made our days here the best part of our trip!! And his wife makes delicious meals too :) I have no words to describe everything we experienced here but I will try… If you can’t travel with the local boat, for an extra price, Jeki (the host and guide) can come pick you up and drop you off. Also for an extra, he will take you on an amazing day of activities. Worth it!!! We started by going to Padar Island which had tourists but was beautiful. The rest of the trip we were alone. Jeki spotted manta fish and we swan with 17 of them!! Pink beach and Makassar point also stunning and had them all for ourselves. Finally we went to look for komodos. We say eight of them right behind the village! Since we had time we also walked around the village and got to meet families and play football with the boys. We would have stayed for days!!

Jacky was an amazing host. We stayed for 3 nights and he organised day trips to the popular spots making sure we got there before the crowds. Even on pink beach there were just four of us and his wife had done a packed lunch. We got some amazing shots of Komodo dragons out behind the village and on the long walk trail. From the balcony we saw turtles and even a dugong playing with a turtle. Snorkled with Manta Rays, sharks,, stingrays and more turtles, one was huge!

We like staying two nights in the village and also to discover the way of life of the local people. The guest house is in front of the sea and the vue is amazing. Jacky was our guide during the two days et we have done many things with him. Only with an other Australian couple far from the tourists. We speak a lot with Jacky who explain us the habits of the komodo people. We have really appreciate his kindness.

Jecki and his family were amazing hosts. It’s truly a unique experience staying on Komodo island with them and Jecki taking you on his boat around the famous sites instead of paying for a 3 day boat trip, you are contributing to a well deserved family. Breakfast, lunch and dinner included. Jacki’s wife is a great cook!

Authentic experience on komodo island! Jackie is a beautiful host and living with his family is a great experience. Instead of booking a crowded tour from labuan bajo this is an option that not everyone knows. You don t even need to go to the national park to see the dragons because they are directly behind the village! Also jackie can organise all the trips to the manta point, padar, pink beach etc..recommended if you don't care to have basic facilities and a more true indoneisan experience!

Fantastica esperienza nel villaggio di Komodo (aperta quest'anno, prima era impossibile alloggiare sull'isola). Una volta prenotato l'alloggio ho preso accordi su wa con Jeki per il trasporto e i tour. Possibile raggiungerla con traghetto pubblico (4,5h) o farsi venire a prendere in barca privata (2,5h). Si può personalizzare completamente il tour (sarete voi, Jeki e il barcaiolo), Jeki fa di tutto per accontentare qualunque richiesta. Draghi visti più volte nei dintorni del villaggio (almeno 20...), occhio che questi sono svegli e dopo qualche secondo ti vengono incontro (non per accoglierti), non sono addormentati come al parco (io non ci sono neanche andato). Snorkeling stupendo sempre in solitaria (viste mante, tartarughe, delfini...). Si alloggia a casa in famiglia e si mangia bene (indonesiano classico). Ho scommesso con Jeki che fra 10-15 anni il villaggio sarà molto diverso da ora, andateci subito per un esperienza wild che non dimenticherete!

Man lebt bei den einheimischen. Es gibt keine Touristen dort. Aber mich hat das gerade fasziniert. Die Ausflüge waren wirklich beeindruckend 🫶 Wunderschöne Strände, nicht allzu viel aber sehr schön. Ich konnte schnorcheln 🤿 mit Korallen und wahnsinnig vielen bunten Fischen . Am interessantesten für mich war das schnorcheln für mich mit den Mantarochen ( wir haben bestimmt 20 davon gesehen) und die Komodo Warane die die dort überall leben. Ich habe spannende Eindrücke über das Leben der einheimischen bekommen. Ich kann den Trip sehr empfehlen, Jeki holt dich vom Flughafen ab und bringt dich wieder hin mit dem Boot. Ich war 2 Nächte dort und es hat sich gelohnt .
