The people were very friendly. I took a 7km walk to explore. Pagoda has lovely views. Not too much else to explore except life. One bonus I walked into a soccer match with all the village. It was a true highlight.

    Interesting town!

Interesting town! Locals v friendly and curious about tourists. Tried a few street vendors and some small restoraunts which were all pretty good! Take an Ankot (Yellow minivan) around town for 5000rp/person would probably be the easiest way. Gojek works in most areas too!

Sorong is a fishing port town and not much to do or to see, unless you are going diving in Raja Ampat on a liveaboard boat or to one of the dive resorts on one of the Islands. Nice Papuan crafts though...

Sorong is peace and nice city.

Sorong is peace and nice city. Many potential location to enjoy Sorong. Come to Buddhist temple that has Pagoda in it. Enjoy the fresh seafood like Tuna Breast barbecues. We recommend Mini Chinese restaurant and local Goyang Lidah Restaurant to be try. Off course we came to see Raja Ampat. It's amazing to visit Raja Ampat. Spot like Piaynemo, Sand Island, Sawondarek, Yenbuba are the must visit. It's not enough one day to enjoy Raja Ampat.
