The staff were welcoming and friendly. They even offered us some traditional snacks they had gotten to share! We had trouble with the aircon unit and the staff immediately provided us with fans and booked a technician to fix the aircon. Extremely accommodating and did everything they could to make the stay comfortable. The room was very spacious, clean, and perfect for us. It seemed like the staff were constantly cleaning and tidying the place. The common areas had couches or beanbags and were perfect for lounging around or meeting people. The kitchen was massive and had facilities to cook your own meals if you were interested. The location was short walking distance from a traditional market and local restaurants as well as short grab rides to places slightly farther away. We booked the mount Bromo trekking tour directly through the hostel which was a highlight and one of the best experiences we've had.
