It offers six bedrooms: a ground-floor king-size with TV and en-suite walk-in shower, a king-size with en-suite walk-in shower and double hand basin, a double with en-suite walk-in shower, another double, a ground-floor twin with TV, and a twin room. There is a bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC, and a lower ground-floor shower room. The property includes a kitchen/diner with wood-burning store, an electric oven, hobs, microwave, fridge/freezer and Air Fryer, a lower ground-floor utility, a sitting room with electric stove, a piano room, a games room, an indoor pool, a gym, and a changing room. Outside, there is an enclosed rear garden with a patio and hot tub, and off-road parking. WiFi, fuel, power, a starter pack for the woodburning stove, bed linen and towels are all included. Carrowkennedy is quite a rural village located approximately 10 miles south of Westport in County Mayo. The hilly areas around the village present an attractive web of winding, leafy lanes festooned with honeysuckle and fuchsia in season. From the hilltops, superb panoramic views extend across Clew Bay to Clare Island, once a stronghold of the Pirate Queen, Gráinne Uaile. The popular town of Westport is well worth a visit with a wide range of shops, restaurants, pubs and bars, and is alive with traditional music and rich Irish heritage.
