The property is built along kuppam river in the village of Cheriyoor, taliparamba in Kannur district of Kerala. It is fully furnished and has all the basic amenities set up. The villa has a 1 large single room, 1 double bedroom and 1 A/C suite. The suite is in the first floor and has a private sit out area facing the river. The other rooms are on the ground floor, along with the hall, dining area and the kitchen. We have a private jetty and access to the river. Guests can sit here and enjoy a coffee/tea along the river side. If you want, we also arrange boat ride on the river (payable) with a local boatman. Or you can sit in the riverside sitting area and enjoy a book or finish your work with beautiful views of the river, with trees all around and a well-maintained lawn. Our cook is known for her tasty, authentic kerala style meals. Most of the vegetable we use come from a community kitchen and everything is cooked in coconut oil. She cooks both veg and non veg food. If you want to try different food options, we can get it delivered from hotels in the town.
My name is Pratish and I manage the property. It belongs to my cousin who runs his travel business in the middle East. I used to work in Bangalore, India, with various multi national companies as a project manager. After a corporate career spanning 17 long years, i relocated back to my hometown in February this year to be with my parents. Photography and traveling is my passion and so i am setting up my curated, guided travel business here. If you want to experience Kannur, do not hesitate to let me know and i will be more than happy to plan it out for you. The villa is located in a quaint, little village. It's surrounded by greenery all around and is a calm and quiet place. Explore the green fields, hills, river, temples etc by walk whenever you want to. In the night, look up and you can see a star studded sky, when the sky is clear.
