I was enchanted by the old town. I was here purely by chance for a wedding and had no idea that this city had such a beautiful old and cozy center. I highly recommend it to anyone who likes "old" Italy.

Beautiful old building with a fascinating history.
Beautiful old building with a fascinating history. A great job has been done to restore and renovate Hotel Posta into a comfortable, inviting hotel with attention to touches that made the stay feel luxurious. The breakfast buffet was spectacular and white linen tablecloths were changed between every sitting. The location was also good, making it easy to walk to delicious dining spots and to other historical sites.

A really nice historical city, with a very picturesque old center. Large green parks and very good local cuisine. Unfortunately I couldn't visit all the interesting churches, I had planned to, because of the Corona virus horaires.

Oké, Reggio Emilia is not Bologna nor even close by neighbour Modena, but it’s a cute little Italian town, centrally located, not flooded with tourists at least and there are enough things to see and enjoy. The mountains are near and even Florence is only an hour by car.

This is a fairly small town, and the Old Town is clustered in a manageable area. You can walk everywhere, the people are friendly and helpful, and the lovely old churches are great. There was a large market in the center of Old Town the day we were there, which was quite interesting. On Sundays, many shops and restaurants close, so you will need to plan ahead for that if your visit includes Sunday.

It is easy to walk around, attractive and unexpectedly unique. We loved seeing lots of people on bikes. Shops were beautifully presented, many in an old worldly style.
We only had one night but could have done with at least another one.
This hotel is a surprise when you enter it. While it is located across from the train station and some groups hang which was a worry as we pulled up but it turned out to be no problem. The room was quiet, clean and comfortable. The hotel has been rennovated and has a modern decor and vibe with a bar available. Three Piazza's behind the hotel make for a good walk and contain shops and eating areas. Secure parking is available close and the hotel has a 10 euro a day deal with the company that owns it. A staff member is on reception 24/7.
The hotel is beautifully decorated and the service is incredibly friendly. They were accommodating to English speakers and were accessible through WeChat should you need to quickly get in touch with them. They were also very responsive on Booking.com. The linens were clean, coffee is set up in each room, and they had Grown Alchemist products. I had a view of the street and my coworker had her own little terrace. The location is nice as it's near Piazza Fontanesi.
The apartment had absolutely everything one might need. It's spacious and clean, with great character in the small details. Brunetto, our host, was absolutely wonderful! He helped us out during our stay, was available for any questions we had. Reggio Emilia will forever stay embedded in our hearts! Thank you again, Brunetto, for a truly lovely stay! We can't wait to come back to Reggio Emilia again!
Its location and comfort level and Mr. Andre, who was really helpful, he did what he can do to make it a great stay. I was arranging this stay for my sister who came to visit the schools of Reggio Emelia, and I had to change the previous booking in another hotel to this apartments, she felt the difference on safety aspect for example as well.
Martina was a great host who met us upon our arrival at the relaxing end of a rural Italian road. We checked in to a modern, recently renovated room and made our way to a delicious local dinner that she suggested. A perfect relaxing stop on our drive from Milan to the Ligurian coast.
We arranged breakfast nearby at a coffee shop. This was great. The location was very good (nearby the centre). Also near the area of the trainstation and RCF Arena Reggio Emilia (Arena Eventi). Good Pizzeria with kind people downstairs to the guesthouse.
Staff were excellent, helpful, polite and professional
Breakfast - good variety and excellent quality food
Great location with free parking
The hotel was lovely and quiet - ask for a room at the back. I would definitely come back here
All personnel was helpful and smiling. I loved the convenience of the outside parking and the hotel's positioning. The Breakfast was a pleasant surprise, again with a lot of support from the personnel gave an overall great feeling.
It was HOT in Reggio Emilia when we visited so the nice pool was a major bonus! The air conditioning in the room worked well so we were very comfortable. Decent Italian breakfast buffet. Free parking on site.
Beautiful, comfortable, clean, tasty breakfast, quiet and silent, 12 min. Walk to the Centro Storico perfect for a short stop or to stay a couple of days while you visit the surroundings Modena, Parma, Bologna.
The location is near the train station which is make a lot of convenient. The room is beautiful and staffs are friendly. Breakfast was good too! Totally it was nice for the trip to Reggio Emilia
