We are a multicultural couple in our 30s from Brazil and New Zealand. We love the outdoors, the peace of nature, and animals. Between us, we speak four languages: English, Italian, Portuguese, and Spanish. We are very social and friendly and love to exchange stories and ideas. Cadero is a charming village that was built in the 1700s. It sits 600 meters above sea level and offers breathtaking views of the lake. You'll notice that the village is called the "mosaic village" because it's filled with beautiful artwork hanging everywhere. There are plenty of walking trails around the village, and if you're looking for a nice spot to have breakfast or enjoy a beer in the afternoon, there's a cozy bar nearby. Just a short 10-minute drive uphill, you'll reach Focora, which is situated at the top of the mountain. From there, you can take a leisurely walk along the mountain ridge and soak in the stunning views of Switzerland and Lago Maggiore. If you head 10 minutes downhill, you'll reach the delightful lakeside town of Maccagno. It's a perfect place to unwind with its charming bars, restaurants, a supermarket, lovely lakeside parks, and plenty of spots to swim. And if you travel a bit further, about 10 more minutes, you'll arrive at the famous village of Luino. Here, you can enjoy leisurely walks along the lakefront, explore the historical center, indulge in shopping, and experience the lively market that fills the city with energy. Don't forget to explore the neighboring villages too! You'll find unique artwork and sculptures scattered throughout, just waiting to be discovered.
