This was our second stay at Casino Canée, and again the hospitality of Fabio and Giovanni was fantastic. The property itself is nicely located at the outskirts of Angera with a beautiful view of the the town with its castle and the lake behind it. The owners really make you feel at home. Next to a good breakfast, they offer two choices of a carefully prepared, home cooked diner that allows you to taste some good Italian cuisine at a reasonable pice. Enjoying a glas of wine and a good conversation with the other guests during sunset makes this stay one to repeat again on a next trip!

In a rural position but a stone's throw from the village of Angera, immersed in a landscape of great beauty, Cascina Canée offers 4 bedrooms with en suite bathrooms. To complete the offer Cuscinée cooking school offers courses, lasting either a weekend or a week, for those who want to learn the art of good food, to experiment and have fun. The layout of the rooms, the large common areas which are regularly sanitised and a garden of over 2000 square meters available to guests, make Cascina Canée a Covid safe place, where you can relax and enjoy privacy in complete security. The property is located 20 minutes from Milan Malpensa International Airport and only 45 minutes from Milan. Sports, cultural activities, food and wine experiences are readily available in the area. The pleasure of absolute relaxation, opportunities to appreciate good food and the secrets of genuine but refined cuisine, getting to know the local wines or the best Italian labels together with the availability of outdoor excursions will transform your stay into a unique experience in every sense.
Roy Mansell (Cape Town, South Africa) I met Fabio and Giovanna over 10 years ago when they moved from Italy to South Africa. Since then I have travelled with them both locally and in Italy and attended many lunches and dinners hosted by them in their home and other venues. Giovanna and I are also members of the Chaine des Rotisseurs and have attended many of their functions over the years. While serving on Chaine du Cap committee we also contributed to the successful organisation of many of these events. During the past 10 years I have experienced on numerous occasions Fabio and Giovanna's passion for food and wine and their ability to create a relaxed and welcoming environment for their numerous local and international guests. Their knowledge of the culture, food and wine of all the regions of Italy brings together the opportunity for their friends and guests to experience the best of Italy in an informative, relaxed and fun way.
