Charming little house in the center of Ventimiglia, just 3 minutes from the train station. Unique and with a touch of quirkiness, come stay in our pied-a-terre that has all you could want by way of amenities. Whether you are planning to explore the Côte d’Azur or a bit of the (amazing) Italian coast, you this is the ideal base for all of your travels. Or, if like the owners, your goal is to enjoy a slice of Italy, then this is the perfect place to relax and enjoy some of Italy’s finest cuisine!
The train station is a 3 min. walk. The beach is a 5 min. walk. Monaco is a half hour away by car or train. Nice is a 40 min drive, while Cannes is an hour drive. The new Ventimiglia marina, with a boat shuttle to Monaco, is in the old town (Ventimiglia Alta), a walk up after crossing the river. The old town is worth a visit as it has a special atmosphere and great views. Ultra-posh Ospedaletti and colourful Sanremo are also worth a special visit. The Sanremo shops rival those in Milan. The Hanbury Gardens are a landmark between France and Italy. Parking in Ventimiglia is a challenge – we suggest you pick a place in the square near the police station (3 min. walk from the house) and keep your car there.
