Nestled in the quiet of the Mediterranean maquis. And 'ideal for planning excursions to the Aeolian Islands, boarding at 4 km. Capo Vaticano 12 km, Pizzo, Tropea 35 km 3 km, Riace Bronzes at the museum of Reggio Calabria 90 km, Certosa di Serra San Bruno 65 km, Caves of Sbariati Zungri costiuito a hundred caves considered to be unique in its kind dating back to 900 AD 10 km
Il borgo di Gasponi è l'ideale come punto di partenza per visitare buona parte della Calabria Tirrenica. Situato sulla collina che domina Tropea, gode di un clima molto fresco anche nelle giornate più calde. E' possibile raggiungere il centro di Tropea in soli 5 minuti di auto. a 12 km è possibile visitare le grotte degli Sbariati di Zungri, a 12 km vi sono le più belle spiaggie di Capo Vaticano. In un'ora è possibile raggiungere la Certosa di Serra San Bruno (65 Km) e Reggio Calabria (100 km) con il museo della Magna Grecia dove è possibile ammirare i Bronzi di Riace. A 35 km si trova Pizzo Calabro famosa per i gelati tra cui primeggia il Tartufo. Inoltre a Gasponi e negli immediati dintorni vi sono molti ristoranti dove è possibile assaporare la vera cucina Mediterranea.
