LA NASSA SUITES & ROOMS, was born in the heart of the historic center of Mazara del Vallo, the "Kasbah" and is very well connected to the Palermo "Falcone e Borsellino" airport and the Trapani "Vincenzo Florio" airport, thanks to the Taxi or Shuttle Service, in collaboration with our structure! The apartment is fully air-conditioned and newly built, consisting of an entrance into an open space area, with a kitchen complete with all appliances and induction for cooking food, a washing machine and a seating area with sofa and SmartTV with Netflix included. All bedrooms are equipped with LED TV, each of them boasts a private bathroom with a modern and refined design, including one with a walk-in shower for the most demanding guests, of course courtesy set, towels and bed linen. The structure in collaboration with restaurants, bathing establishments, diving and charters offers the possibility of organizing your stay by planning exciting activities in advance such as guided dives in the crystalline seabed rich in poseidonia or even PADI diving courses, KITESURF courses.
Hospitality is a precious characteristic of us Sicilians and for me to host is to open the doors of my home, proud to make known the beauty of my land, the goodness of our cuisine and the air of an island from which you will then bring an indelible memory. I am Salvatore and my attachment to Sicily, despite the fact that work took me away from it, led me to create a place that could be a refuge for my serenity and an opportunity for my guests to experience firsthand the warmth that warns both for the hot temperatures that warm our summer and for the way that the Mazara community knows how to spread to those who are guests passing through. I wanted to quote two famous expressions that I feel belong to me: "I was born in Sicily and there man is born an island within an island and remains so until his death, even living far from his harsh native land surrounded by the immense and jealous sea". The structure, being immersed in the heart of the historic center, is surrounded by places of cultural interest such as the Museum of the Dancing Satyr, a bronze statue representing a satyr, a mythological being part of the orgiastic procession of the Greek god Dionysus. The story of the discovery of the statue begins in July 1997, when the fishing vessel "Capitan Ciccio", belonging to the naval fleet of Mazara del Vallo and commanded by Captain Francesco Adragna, perhaps by chance, fished out a leg of a bronze sculpture from the seabed of the Strait of Sicily. . On the night between 4 and 5 March 1998, the same fishing boat brought a large part of the rest of the sculpture back to the surface from 500 meters below sea level in which it was lying, losing an arm in the recovery. A few steps from the structure, in addition to being able to visit over 100 churches, in the splendid Piazza della Repubblica, you can admire the Cathedral of the Santissimo Salvatore, a place of unparalleled beauty, but also the Norman Arch in the nearby Piazza Mokarta and the recent redevelopment of "Villa Jolanda" with the incomparable beauty of the centuries-old oaks.
