Gemütliche, sehr gut eingerichtete Zimmer. Der Pool mit der Liegewiese bot eine gute Möglichkeit, sich nach einem Wandertag abzukühlen. Die Unterkunft hat eine sehr gute Lage mitten im Ahrntal - in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Frankbach hat man schon von der Unterkunft aus direkte Wandermöglichkeiten. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten waren <10 Minuten per Auto erreichbar. Parkmöglichkeit direkt vor dem Haus. In direkter Nähe gab es das Mineralienmuseum, das einen Besuch wert ist. Zur Talstation Klausberg sind es max. 5 Minuten mit dem Auto. In der weiteren Umgebung gibt es zahlreiche Möglichleiten, Urlaubsaktivitäten zu gestalten. Empfehlen können wir die Wanderung zur Bizathütte, die direkt vom Haus möglich ist - ist bei uns zur Hunde-Morgenrunde geworden (ca. 4 km mit 400 Höhenmetern). Der Vermieter ist sehr nett und hat stets direkt auf Fragen reagiert. Darüber hinaus hat er uns für den Start gute Tipps gegeben, so dass uns die Orientierung und die Eingewöhnung sehr schnell gelungen ist.
