Booked a 2 bed apartment for us and our 2 adult children, was much nicer than we were expecting. Very clean, pool area was an unexpected bonus. Shame we only stayed one night and were hardly in the apartment. Excellent location. Staff were lovely, we had an early flight so left before breakfast was served, but they provided us with a little box to take with us.

We received a charming room with a view on the Roman Theatre. The main sights are in walking distance just like the bazaar. The breakfast was amazing with the pancake made by our chefs on the spot.

The rapidly expanding Jordanian capital, Amman is an economic powerhouse spread over various hills. Atop one sits the Citadel, containing remains of the Roman Temple of Hercules, a Byzantine church and an 8th-century mosque and palace.
Also here is the Jordan Archaeological Museum, and at the foot of the hill is a Roman theatre, part built in the rock. Modern housing blocks surround it, but the most avant-garde architecture is in the developing Al Abdali business district.
The tallest Amman structures will be the Jordan Gate Towers and will house one of the city’s high-rise hotels. International brands of restaurants and bar can be found alongside more traditional cuisine in Amman, and many eateries are in the large Mecca Mall and Grand City Mall, which also has a cinema.
Nearby is the desert-like vegetation of Al Hussein National Park, and the Royal Automobile Museum which features cars of King Hussein, ruler for over 40 years and after whom are named city sights such as the King Hussein Business Park and mosque. The King Abdullah I Mosque has a beautiful blue dome, while Abu Darweesh Mosque at Amman’s highest point is a striking black-and-white structure.
Booking.com’s Amman accommodation includes 5-star hotels, apartments in the embassy district, and cheap hostels, all within easy reach of Queen Alia Airport.

A great place for foodies, as there are plenty of reasonably priced restaurants with amazing food. Even Fakhreldin which is widely considered the best restaurant in Amman wasn't very pricy. The city is not very walkable but taxis/Ubers are rather cheap, typically very comfortable and come quickly. Amman Citadel is a must see for the city views.

I love this city!
I love this city! I have travelled all over the world and have experience with all known ones.
But Amman is my favorite. I have been here 4 times now.
It counts 6 million inhabitants and therefore is busy. But........ there is never an unsafe.
In fact in other cities I am very carefull. Pickpocketters everywhere. But In Amman you can leave everything unwatched and it is still there. (Do the same in New York, Amsterdam, Paris, Rio ..... :) :) )
The Jordan people are open, superkind and for sure not religious fanatics. In fact I feel ashamed about the western Islamofoob behaviour. I would never advise a jordanian to visit Western countries as I feel ashamed about our discrimination of Muslims.
Amman has many places of interest: The Citadel, The museums, Downtown, Roman theater etc. etc.
And for sure many nice restaurants with great food. For those with weak health. Jordan people are very hygienic.

Don't really on Hotel taxi very over priced and local knowledge is poor. Amman has limited attractions because small country there are
Aqaba, Heki Wem, Petra, Jerash, umm qais, Roman theatre and Citidel and dead sea are the best.
Amman City does not have something to define it all attractions are Greek or Roman

Tourist friendly people, good food, affordable price, many tourist attractions, lively downtown market. Found a bit costly in commuting (taxi charges), limitations in conversing with people in english. Dead Sea Beaches are not maintained as it is very difficult to walk safely and comfortably to float in Dead Sea (i used Holiday In Resort beach).

I would not go out of your way to visit Amman.
I would not go out of your way to visit Amman. It's a hectic city for pedestrians and downright crazy for drivers. Meanwhile, there isn't that much to do: a few ancient Roman sites, a couple mosques, and a museum.

Amman is a bustling city with historical sites, great food and quirky shops. I loved the citadel, which only costs 3 JD to enter. At Hasheem Restaurant, you can try authentic Jordanian cuisine for an extremely low price. Taxi drivers are helpful and I didn't feel like they were trying to scam me. Clothing is very cheap here. I bought a belt for only 5 JD and the quality seems very high. However, tourists need to be careful with persistent shopkeepers who invite them in and charge them too much. Always bargain for a lower price. The price they ask is not set in stone but is just the start of a negotiation.
"Hands Down to the best Hotel I have ever been to,
Amazing Customer service,
Beautiful and comfortable rooms,
Simple, cozy, and fully accommodating, with it being in the centre of Amman, you have accessibility to everything,
Friendly staff and we'll organised management,
And very affordable price,
Highly recommended,
And to the Hotel Owner, Management and staff,
I say, Thank you from the bottom of my Heart for everything that you have done for me,
I will definitely come back to your Hotel on my next trip to Jordan"
Value for money. Parking in front of the hotel. 10 min drive from rainbow street. Restaurant with bar. Room size and cleanliness is ok. Do not expect much more for this money. If you are planning a one night stay in Amman, it is good.
A Jordanian breakfast will be served in your room in a big plate. Staffs are very helpful.
A great place to stay in while in Amman. Very friendly staff, clean spaces, warm shower (which is not the case everywhere in Jordan), and rich breakfast. Tea at the reception, advices on what to see and where to eat by the personnel, and central location of the hotel with a view of the Roman theatre were a clear plus.
Perfect location, the hotel is right in the center of the city, it’s a nice starting point to see the main attractions in Amman. The breakfast was good, and we even got a nice “box” breakfast to takeout the day we went to Petra. The staff is super friendly (like almost everyone in Jordan), a special thanks to Habib!
Great place to stay in Amman.
Very comfortable and nice apartment with full equipment.
Good location, close to restaurants and to city centre.
Very kind staff, helpful and hospitable.
Great breakfast, the best during our trip in Jordan.
Good wifi, parking available in hotel and nice view from restaurant.
