Atef and Hashem are bedouins from this area. They and their families have been running the Seven Wonders Bedouin Camp since 2010 - and it is very much a family business. Both of them have designed and been actively involved in the development of the new Seven Wonders Luxury Camp. Hosting guests is their full time occupation. However, given a chance they will take time out and go off with their families into the Wadi Araba desert for a bit of rest and relaxation.

Property info

Atef, Hashem and Jane have been running the popular Seven Wonders Bedouin Camp since 2010. In 2019 they decided to build a separate smaller, more luxurious camp and called it the Seven Wonders Luxury Camp. With just 14 rooms and 8 dome tents and lots of large private balconies, it really is a "luxury" camp - all the rooms and tents have ensuite bathrooms, A/C, and toiletries. The surrounding rocky landscape is beautiful and the camp itself is spacious and nicely landscaped. Breakfast and dinner is served in the on-site restaurant, and the coffee shop serves coffee, tea, soft drinks and shisha from 2pm until 11pm.

Neighborhood info

Seven Wonders Luxury Camp is situated in the Little Petra Area - a beautiful rocky desert just a 12 minute drive from the Petra Visitors centre. The camp is just a 20 minute walk from the Little Petra Archaelogical Site. A much smaller site than Petra - it can be viewed in about 45 minutes. The camp is also close to the start of the Back Way Hike to the Monastery - a superb hike with stunning westward views over Wadi Araba.
