Private lodging 「Ken House Osaka」 is located in Takatsuki City, Osaka Prefecture, and the nearest station is JR Takatsuki Station on the JR Kyoto Line. Located halfway between the big cities of Osaka and Kyoto, it takes 13 minutes to reach JR Kyoto Station by train from JR Takatsuki Station, and 15 minutes to JR Osaka Station by train from JR Takatsuki Station. Our house is located in a corner of a well-maintained residential area, with lots of greenery, so you can spend a quiet and comfortable stay. Check-in is from 15:00 to 23:00 and check-out is from 6:00 to 10:00. We will pick you up at the nearest station, and we will also pick you up in the morning and evening every day during your stay. If you are coming by car, I think there will be no problem if you park in front of your house. Other cars are also parked in front of the house. The room is private <Plan A> 2nd floor 3 tatami Western style room (5 m2 per person) 1 single sofa bed. <Plan B> 3 sets of futons in an 8 tatami Japanese-style room (13 m2: maximum of 3 people) on the 2nd floor. <Plan C> 1 queen bed in a 6-tatami Western-style room (10 m2: maximum 2 people) on the 2nd floor Each room has a beautiful view from its window. The bath (shared) is a semi-open-air bath, and you can see the beautiful green hill from the large window. Therefore, it is a good idea to take a bath in the evening or early in the morning when it is still bright. Facilities include a shared living room, kitchen, washing machine, pot, and bathroom (towels, hair dryer, conditioner/shampoo, soap, toothbrush, slippers). In 2018, we received permission from the Governor of Osaka Prefecture to operate as a private lodging facility. As a hobby, I enjoy playing classic LP records, 100 classical music CDs, Tchaikovsky's Three Great Ballet Music DVD, etc. on BOSE 5.1ch in my living room. My hobbies include listening to music, watching professional baseball, and playing golf for many years. Would you like to play together at a nearby golf course? Takatsuki City is located midway between Kyoto and Osaka, and has developed as a commuter town for both cities, with a population of 360,000 people. It takes 13 minutes by train to Kyoto, 15 minutes to Osaka, and 35 minutes to UFJ. Near my home are Settsu Gorge, Akutagawa Riverbed Park, Akutagawa Castle Ruins, Imajozuka Tumulus, and Bijinyu. In addition, there is a Morita-ya food supermarket, a pharmacy, a dry cleaning shop, a grilled meat/Chinese restaurant, and a hospital within a 6-minute walk. In order of proximity to home, there are Heian Jogakuin, Kansai University, Otemon Gakuin University, Osaka Medical and Pharmaceutical University, and Ritsumeikan University.
