This ryokan is a designated historical building of Aizu Wakamatsu City, and was beautifully renovated as ryokan from a 140-year-old medicine wholesaler and warehouse. Japanese cypress bath is iconic feature. The bus is very functionable with an anytime water heating function and the relaxing scent of hinoki (Japanese cypress) in the bathroom. The bath is also equipped with two showers.
I usually live in Tokyo, but fell in love with this rich historic area. I am happy to share my private inn with other people which can respect my historical building.
