The homestay was clean and comfortable. It had the basic necessities. The hosts went out of their way to ensure that we were comfortable and looked after. The food they booked was delicious and they were helpful in answering questions about sightseeing, restaurants, etc.

The room was spacious and well equipped with tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryer, TV, AC. There was also an outdoor terrace shared with one other room. The hosts were charming and very helpful in organising excursions in Anuradhapura and transfers. You can book to have dinner at the property which is a good idea as there are no restaurants nearby. Both dinners were really delicious as were the breakfasts.

We loved everything, the way the owners Mapa and Kachi make you feel comfortabel and loved is exceptional. Mapa is a very social guy and Kach isi an amazing cook. The rooms are clean and very nice overal. Would recommend this stay to anyone, 100%! Their cousin Kalharan is a good taxi driver. He can pick you up at the airport or wherever you are coming from and is a very nice guy. Mapa his brother is a national guide who knows a lot about the country and the region. We had a tour with him the whole day and visited Mihintale in the afternoon which was really stunning. Both the area and the sunset.

We had an excellent stay, and they made us feel at home. They organized everything for us, the guide (good English), delicious dinner (and showed us how to make coconut milk!), and they drank beer with us and the other guests which made it a very pleasant and cosy stay! Above that the room was super clean, and had everything we needed (incl. hot shower & airco). 10/10 recommend, they really are the nicest people!

Very nice hosts. They were very helpful with everything. Even made sure that we arrived safely on our next stop after leaving there. The rooms were also very clean. They are providing dinner and breakfast. Everything I ate there was very tasty. It was one of the most delicious food I ate in Sri Lanka. Definetly recommend it.

The owners Mapa and Kanchi are such genuine and lovely people. They ensured our stay was as comfortable as possible: organising transport to the sights prior to arrival, a very clean room and Kanchi cooked the most amazing authentic Sri Lankan dinner and breakfast for us, which we couldn't recommend more. This is the most hospitable guesthouse we've stayed in and really hope to return one day!

We loved everything about this property but especially the genuine kindness of the owners. The rooms were very clean, the beds were comfortable and the home cooked meals are the best you will find ( she even accommodated my low sodium diet!!). We did took an amazing tour of the ancient city as well which was very informative. Although it is a little out of town we were well accommodated with trips to town when we needed. Definitely recommend a stay here.

Great stay with a great family. The family welcomed me warmly. Treated me with fresh lemon juice. Mapa, the owner[ he is a professional tourist guide ] took me to see the Anuradhapura old city. He taught me a lot of things about Buddhism and the ruins. Kanchi Prepared me a very nice breakfast and dinner. The foods are amazing. If you stay in Ceylonima don`t hesitate to get the meals. One of the best foods I ever had on my tour. Unfortunately, I could stay 1 night, but next time I will stay more. The homestay is situated in a quiet area a bit away from the city, It is an advantage for visitors. No noise at all, but sounds of the birds in the morning. The owner came to the station to pick me up and dropped me at the bus station without any charge. Thank you for treating me as a family member.

Kanti and Mapa, the owners, are extremely good hosts. They helped us with everything we needed. We had a lot of lovely chats. Kanti is the best cooker ever! We had breakfasts and dinners. One morning we left early for a trip, and she sent us with sandwiches, fruits and tea for a take away. Mapa has a great knowledge about everything! The rooms were very tidy, clean and comfortable.
