Tā ir jauna, tikko celta koka mājiņa: ar savu īpaši māksliniecisko stilu un daudziem dizaina elementiem, kas Jums liks labi justies un iemīļot šo vietu. Lieliska aura un iespēja, sēžot uz terases, dzirdēt šalcošu jūru, kura atrodas 5/7minūšu gājienā no mājām līdz Plieņciema skaistajai un baltajai pludmalei. Tajā var nokļūt pa vēsturisko Katrīnas taku, kuru reiz tālajā 1810.gadā izraka zaldātiņi, lai toreizējā Krievijas ķeizara Aleksandra I sieva, Elizabete, varētu braukšus tikt līdz jūrai. Par godu sava vīra vecmāmiņai, Katrīnai Lielajai, šis ceļš tika nodēvēts par Katrīnas taku. Tā to plienciemieši dēvē vēl joprojām. Savukārt Plieņciema Baltā kāpa, kura aizsargā ciemu no jūras vējiem, tiek uzskatīta par garāko balto kāpu Rīgas jūras līcī: tā ir 3km gara un aizstiepjas līdz pat Ķesterciemam. Te ir brīnišķigs priežu mežs, pa kuru var pastaigāties, baudot jūras gaisu un harmonisko ainavu. Starp citu, Plieņciems paliks atmiņā arī kā sava veida kino "pilsētiņa", jo te filmētas abas filmas "Zvejnieka dēls" versijas, kā arī daudzi skati no savulaik populārā seriāla "Ilagais ceļš kāpās", bet gandrīz 10 gadus te vasarās atpūtās arī padomju rokgrupas "Kino" līderis Viktors Cojs.
