Hotel located away from the centre, quiet, close to the beach. Lovely staff at reception: smiles from morning to evening. Very clean. My not the highest rating is due to the gap between the number of stars and the actual standard. Everything is ok, but the facilities and standard are modest. For me it is a three-star hotel. Nevertheless, I recommend it for a short stay.

The location is very good. You are at the heart of the main street and very close to the beach. I think for a night stay in Jurmala, room is very good but I wouldn't do another night. Also, the building is very cute.

Lots of food and shopping on Jurmala street, but the whole area is very large so renting bikes or having a car is very important.
Summer would be much nicer but the autumn was very quiet and there were no crowds anywhere.

Jurmala is a must-visit when coming to Latvia.
Jurmala is a must-visit when coming to Latvia. The kilometeres long beach side just 20-30 minutes from Riga, easy to reach both by car and by train. First things to visit are most likely Majori, Dzintari and shopping/walking street that connects both of those places (which also stands for train stops when you buy train tickets). But also Bulduri and Dubulti are good areas to visit, especially if you are a fan of architecture - Jurmala has its own unique style of wooden architecture houses, some of them have been reconstructed and can be perfectly seen between streets (Morbergs summer house is the best example of this). There are plenty of good 4 and 5 star hotels in the center - with good SPA's and restaurant. The best outside restaurant could be "Line 36" - with one of the best Latvian chefs. For active attractions my best suggestion is Livu Aqua Park - inside water attractions park, one of the biggest in Baltics, quite pricey but good for a fun day, especially with kids. There are lots of nature to explore around the city, but all in all I would say that outside the summer season the city will surprise you with the pleasant calmness and fresh air.

We couldn't find anyplace where we could walk the dog on the beach. In general, I didn't get the impression that dogs are appreciated there. Our 5kg Havanese seemed too much for a beach walk in October--even on the leash.

Nice town with long beach near Riga.
Nice town with long beach near Riga. A varitey of restaurants and leisure activities are available.
Unfortunately the summer seasons ends mid of august so that as late august traveler the beaches and town seem a little like a ghost town and a lot of restaurants, activites etc. are already closed

great location, right on the beach with every possible facility available. a short walk to the shopping area where we bought souvenirs and had coffee. The hotel restaurant had an exclusive feel and the food was excellent. We will definitely return again.
Host was wonderful, all instructions how to get to the apartments were given. One of the main point is location: 2 minutes walk to the beach through luxurious road, so we have only good impressions. Also, we visited Lielupe hotel spa so we spent 8-10 min to get there" which is amazing. Moreover, we enjoyed the location of railway station (also 2 minutes of walk) therefore it was comfortable to visit Riga as well.
Netflix, other TV applications are available for visitors.
Good hotel for couples. We lived in a studio room. Everything is fully equipped with appliances - washing machine and dishwasher. large refrigerator. Comfortable beds. Double glazed windows for the balcony. Good sound insulation. Ideal WiFi free to use. Super location, on the central pedestrian street of Jurmala! Appealing and responsive staff. Lots of opportunities to relax on site in the evening. Parking by the hotel. We strongly recommend.
Booked the apartment on the same day we needed it. The owner kindly met me with the key slightly early. It was everything we needed, well located for staying in that part of jurmala and comfortable. It is easy to get to a large, quiet beach and there is a wonderful restaurant on the beach within walking distance of this apartment. It is not in the expensive/resort part of jurmala but this means the price is much better.
Great location! Close to all restaurants and to the beach. Owners are very kind and always happy to help. I stayed in very cosy and quiet room. I asked for a kettle on the reception and I got a set of kettle, teapot, cup, exclusive organic tea and cookies. Breakfast was delicious. View from the terase is fantastic. I loved all about my stay. Definitely, this hotel will be my first choice for my next stay in Jurmala
This is a nice hotel in a quiet area close to the beach and a lot of nice restaurants. Our room was nicely furnished and of a good size. Besides the SPA area, it has an outdoor pool with warm water — it was a pleasure to swim there even on colder days. The breakfast was delicious. Also, there is a kids' corner in the breakfast restaurant, it is very convenient for the families and we appreciated it a lot.
Excellent location - probably the best in Jurmala.
New well-renovated building.
If you get a nice room (the higher floor the better) - you will get a sea view.
Superb SPA facilities - saunas, pools, tropical shower is my fav. Decent SPA packages for extra charges.
Nice personnel.
If you want to have a dinner at the hotel, definitely recommend, great food quality.
Very well maintained hotel and it's territory with extremely spacious rooms and wonderful customer service. The hotel is run by a very friendly owner. We received a truly personalized service. We also enjoyed breakfast cooked by his wife. A big bonus for being pet friendly, not many places like this around Jurmala. We will definitely come again. Thank you!
Everything was wonderful - starting from Check - in. Staff was very professional and friendly. SPA center was wonderful - swimming pool with sea water and wonderful environment including several bathes. Breakfast was very tasty with really very wide food and drinks selection and with wonderful view to the beach from window..
Modern hotel in quiet part of Jurmala. Still a walking distance to all the shopping and dining areas, beach is within few minutes walk. Impeccably clean and well maintained, breakfast was very tasty and had a good variety. The on-site restaurant is great as well. Very satisfied, will ne happy to stay here again.
Typical wooden house of Jurmala. Close to the Concerthall, beach, Jomas pedestrian street. Friendly staff. There is refrigerator in the room, kettle, two caps. Beds are comfortable. There is cafe in the hotel with good prices.
The hotel is well placed close to the beach and close to the railway station, bit (2,5k) further from Jurmala "centre" though. Most staff members were perfect and attentive. Free parking on adjacent street.
Staff Service was excellent. And general service on the hotel was great.
Traveled with children. The children loved the Sea spa and the closeness to the beach, and the hotells own sunbed.
It had everything, including dishes, loads of towels, everything was consodered, even had a great sound system which was great for our group. Right by th beach!
