Room was very nice and spatious. Breakfast was served to the room every morning, perfectly on time as we pre-ordered the day before, hygienically packed and delicious. Our room was cleaned every morning and necessities re-filled accordingly. The host was very polite and welcoming.

Super clean and cozy rooms and beautiful little garden with the small waterfall simply making your day! Highly recommended for either couples or family. Whenever we go to Ventspils again this will by our only place to stay!!!!!

Ventspills is a sea-port, ferries to Sweden from here. The town is very picturesque easily walkable because of it's size. Of particular note was every open space was either or both lawned and planted with amazing floral displays, most street corners conical high and wide flowers bursting with vibrant colours. Even the middle of the roads planted with flowers, the surrounds of public housing blocks having planters and even sculptures everywhere. Early in the morning I could hear the grass mowers, see the workers attending the flower beds and even a woman, pushing a wheelie bin along the pavement and stopping occassionaly to pick up a piece of litter that had been dropped. The whole town so clean and tidy. I arrived a week after the season had ended, it was rain and sunshine, so few if any tourists. few bars or restuarants appeared to be open. Of note was the abundance of finger sighnage boards on most junctions written in Latvian and English, impossible to get lost. Directions to WCs in large letters throughout the town. The pavements and roads well cared for, I witnessed no pot-holes, cracked or broken pavements. In summary the cleanest, prettiest most well maintained place in all of Latvia.

Ventspils is the perfect destination for families with children. There are countless activities for children (and parents) and more than enough to explore, especially mentioning the Vizium, the beach, the adventure park, the water parks and the amazing children`s park in the city!

One of te nicest seaside towns I've visited. Clean and peaceful with lots of parks and old buildings. And of course very modern science museum! It was real pleasure to be there. And remember - find all cows ;-)

Ventspils or the old city name Windau.. historical city by the Baltic sea. Recommend to visit old city and Livonian medieval castle. All over the city are small parks and fountain with a lot of cow sculptures.

All the necessary equipment was provided. Owners were very helpful and informative about the places were could we go and what could we see in Ventspils, since our 5yo kid was with an injury and could not enjoy the playgrounds this summer. We are going to Ventspils on vacation already five years in a row, and still not everything seen and discovered.
