MexicoI stopped writing reviews a while back because most just don’t seem real anymore. I make an exception here because the owner with whom we dealt, Madjid, provides such a great and thoughtful place to stay on the northern end of Isla Mujeres at such a great price. Perfect location (unless you want beach views) with great breakfast/lunch restaurant on site. Nice thick garden which gave privacy to our ground floor unit. I am a big guy and the bed was easily the most comfortable I slept on during our travels about the peninsula. Our room, which included a small fridge and kitchenette, was clean, spacious, and well laid out. The bathroom was a little tighter but had a nice large shower with good water pressure. Madjid was a pleasure to meet, very informative and helpful, but appropriately scarce. Wish we’d had a bit more time there.
