Welcome to our little homestay, nestled on the peak of a hilltop, and inspired by the cultural heritage of the Hakka Walled Village from China. The property is includes amenities such as a gazebo for you early breakfasts, pool facing the mountains, and an outdoor cooking station if you really want to bring your chef game. The stay is surrounded by an upcoming durian grove that takes up to 50 acres of space. On the inside, there are 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a long dining table that can seat up to 14 people. For the beds, there is 2 queen beds, 1 double decker bed, and also provided is 9 futon beds which brings the max capacity up to 15, but if you wanted to bring extra guests it would be any problems, its just that we do not have any more futon beds provided. We also have a karaoke machine linked to the TV. For meals, they are not included because we believe that anyone that stays here needs to experience bringing their own ingredients and cheffing it up for their loved ones, even if it’s as simple as instant noodles. We do provide multiple utensils like various pots, pans, woks and even a steamer. And there are also basic ingredients such as sugar, salt, oil, basic spices, flour, and some noodles if your lucky. Our Hakka-inspired homestay is more than just a place to rest; it's a journey into the heart of tradition, a celebration of community, and a retreat into the serenity of nature. If your in need of a “City detox”, our stay sound just like the right place. Lastly, some of you may be wondering “Seremban?? What’s there to do there?”. Although yes our location is very remote, there are still a lot of tourist attractions that can be found, and if you would like a short itinerary for your trip, feel free to reach out to me on WhatsApp and ill forward you all of my favourite spots to go when visiting.
Hello to whoever may be reading this on the other end, my name is Jeremy and I’m the one managing Hakka Villa. A little about myself, I’m in my early 20s and the main purpose for me, is to help retire my dad. He turns 60 this year and my one wish is for him to retire, I want him to travel and see the world, spend on nice things on himself, or even just take a pit stop from this hustling and bustling life he’s had. Enough about me, lets get into the origin story of how this property was made in the first place. My dad had the idea through my late grandfather, my grandfather immigrated from China in hopes of a better life for his children and theirs. Although I never got to meet him, I was always told the cool and interesting stories of how he used to live in Hakka Walled Village (围龙屋)(you can Google it for reference of the real size). The original design was a large multi-family communal living space where although there were strangers who were not bound by blood, treated each other just like their own. I visited one of the few that still had residents last year, and to explain it shortly, what I experienced, was what everyone wanted when they envisioned a family. My main purpose in all of this, is to keep the Hakka heritage alive in Malaysia and to share the wonderful stories and knowledge that has been passed down to me, to anyone who would give their time of day a listen. That’s about it, if your still reading my short little introduction, then thank you, and If you would like to have any misconceptions cleared, you can call or message me directly, it would be my pleasure to be of any assistance.
