Our cosy walk-up apartment was fully renovated in December 2018, with upgraded bathrooms and a refreshed balcony completed in October 2019. The neighborhood Fraser’s hill has been around for decades. Despite this, Fraser’s hill is relatively free from commercial development and maintains its peacefulness. We know this as we have been to Fraser’s hill every year for more than 25 years! We recommend the following activtiies: 1.Long strolls 2.Play highland golf 3.Visit the waterfall 4.Jungle trek in one of the 50 trails (Guides are available for hire) 5.Bird watching (Guides are available for hire) 6.Have a cuppa at Ye Olde Smokehouse 7.Stargazing (depends on weather conditions) Those with children will be happy to know that playgrounds are within 3 minute and 10 minute walk from our apartment. There are also horse riding, archery, fish feeding and boating activities around. Food options are available, ranging from asian to western. There is a bbq pit within a minute walk from our home. Feel free to use but do pay the caretaker a small fee to clean up. Quick tip : Enhance your experience by taking more walks, and keeping car usage to a minimum. More information How to get here? This is the best way to get here. Fraser’s hill is 1 hour and 45 minutes drive from Kuala Lumpur under normal traffic conditions. The drive from Kuala Lumpur to Raub takes an hour. Thereafter, it’s a 45 minute hilly drive up. Alternativesly, you may take a bus or local train to Raub, and arrange for a private taxi transfer. Tip: Raub is a great pit stop for your drive. There are food gems hidden in this quiet town. We would recommend you to explore.
