Small and cozy family run lodge with a spectacular view. Many thousand hectares of private wilderness around, home-made tasty local style game food (zebra’ goulash) but the biggest asset of the place are the owners - Cindy and Helmuth! The opportunity to sit and dine with them, to small-talk with them, to see a little and understand better they way of living, their problems and point of view for many things was a great pleasure and honor for us. I will come back. Helmuth promised to teach me hunting.

De lodge heeft een geweldig uitzicht omdat het op een heuvel staat. Wat ons het meest beviel was het warme contact met de familie. We hadden onder meer interessante gesprekken met Chris over de mogelijkheden voor irrigatie. Zoals de meeste farms in Namibie is water erg schaars, en dientengevolge is ook voer voor de dieren schaars. Door grondwater wat er wel zit, kun je de mogelijkheden om vee en wild te houden vergroten. Anita heeft haar Oostenrijkse kookkunsten aangewend om lekker voor ons te koken.

Super herzlicher und familiärer Aufenthalt. Das frisch zubereitete Essen jeden Tag von den Betreibern war einfach nur klasse! Ein dickes Lob an die Küche. Durch den täglichen familiären Umgang hat man sich sehr wohl gefühlt, wir haben die Tage sehr genossen. Die Einblicke in das Leben eines Farmers waren sehr interessant. Die Nähe zum Etosha Nationalpark war mit 1 Stunde Fahrt auch kein Problem. Die Familie hat sich sehr viel Mühe gegeben und ist auf alle Wünsche eingegangen. Wir würden sehr gerne wiederkommen!

Phantastische Lage! Die Betreiberfamilie ist extrem nett und aufmerksam, die von der Chefin (Anita) gekochten Mahlzeiten sind großartig. Alle waren überaus freundlich und jederzeit hilfsbereit. Sehr familiäre Atmosphäre!
