You will find a fresh, clean, and centrally located home to stay in Rakaia. We have just upgraded the interior and revamped the outside area including new concrete, pruning, gardens, and a nice area for sitting in the sun at the back of the section.
I am into gym, bodybuilding, and enjoying life. My onsite security includes two outside cameras and my boarder Paul who lives right down the back in a caravan. Maveric his boxer is behind a gate and is so friendly. Paul keeps the outside tidy and takes care of my home.we do weekly cleans. You can also request to stay for longer than 31 days.
Rakaia is nice and easy to get around. It is flat and small and has everything you need there. I love the sunny days and it can get cold being in the South Island so it is beneficial to bring a warm jacket. Locals are very friendly and there is usually something going on at one of the pubs -the South or Railway. Good coffees at the Mobil, nice Indian food, takeaway fish and chips, a small supermarket, and good roasts and other meals at the Railway Tavern.
