To top it off, treat yourself to an indulgent individually tailored half or full day deep-relaxation Sanctuary therapy experience in the state-of-the-art therapy rooms. Complete with float orb, infrared sauna, clinical hypnotherapy and physical therapies this is a beautiful space for the body and mind to rebalance. With just one set of guests welcomed at a time, guests have exclusive use of the estate and facilities during their stay. Therapy bookings and Chef prepared cuisine can be organised directly with the property.
We really wanted to offer a personalised, private, secluded experience to enable guests to fully embrace a retreat away from the hustle and bustle of life and reconnect either with themselves, partner, or their family. Our guests get to enjoy this 200-acre tranquil oasis exclusively. Our main residence and therapy rooms is 800m further up at the property summit. We see all our guests as individuals, each with unique needs and requirements, guests also have exclusive use of the state-of-the-art treatment rooms during their therapy appointments. The combination of nature, seclusion and relaxation along with the exquisite range of body and mind therapies all work in absolute harmony with each other for quite profound results. Marie, your host and therapist offers deep relaxation therapies such as float therapy, infrared sauna, zero balance body treatments, aromatouch massage and clinical hypnotherapy for complete body mind balance.
Situation at the gateway to the Coromandel there are many exciting day trips in our local area. The Shore Bird Coast and Miranda Shorebird Centre is a must for anyone wanting a glimpse of New Zealand’s amazing birdlife. Karangahake Gorge has been voted ‘one of the 101 must-do things’ for Kiwis with lovely walkways & stunning views of the Waitewheta River. The coast road from Thames takes you on a spectacular 54km scenic drive to quaint Coromandel Town. Hot Water Beach dig your own spa pool in the sand in which to lie back and relax. Cathedral Cove, Mercury Bay is known for its many marine experiences both on and under the water. From kayaking and fishing in and around the Mercury Islands to scenic boat trips in the Te Whanganui-A-Hei Marine Reserve, Whitianga and Mercury Bay is a sea-lovers paradise.
