After a day out on the lake or hiking the Fiordlands, relax in comfort on the squishy leather sofa in front of the old-school brick fireplace. In warmer months, fire up the BBQ for a classic Kiwi dinner on the private patio, followed by a lakeside stroll in the evening sun. Bliss! Abel Tasman National Park is the smallest National Park in New Zealand, but it is one of the most scenic. Abel Tasman boasts pristine white sandy beaches, tranquil estuaries and wonderful forested headlands. The Coastal Track is world famous, and visitors can choose to explore it on their own, or with a guide. Other ways to explore the coastline include sea kayaking, yacht, or water taxis. At the southern entrance to Abel Tasman National Park there is fantastic opportunity for visitors to swim with seals.
