Host went out of her way to make me feel welcome...to the extent of some home baked cookies in the room on arrival! Very well appointed room, spotlessly clean, nice view with a private deck and more. The owner supplied an amazing breakfast which included cereal, fruit, yoghurt...then some fresh banana bread and then toast! I was made to feel extremely welcome. Would I recommend? IN A HEARTBEAT! Value for money? Without a doubt totally fantastic value! But don't take my word for it, go find out for yourself! The unit by the way has the studio with couch, bed, fridge/TV and tea/coffee facilities. Very nice bathroom next to that, then on other side via the bathroom a seperate bedroom with 2 single beds to accommodate additional guests when needed. This room also has an external door opening out to the same deck. All in all a neat set up...

    “Although I didn't stay here to go to fielding ,I discovered Fielding was a quick handy drive away to visit .Plenty of different food to chose from for breakfast and the added extra's in the fridge and baking upon arrival .Friendly hosts .”

our property is north facing with lovely rural views. You have your own private deck overlooking a large lawn and native trees. There is a deck with outdoor furniture next to the main drive way where you drive in, this deck is off the main kitchen area from which we can see the top half of mt Ruapehu on a clear day. You are welcome to sit out there with your coffee with us.
Gavins occupation is curator of a local bush reserve in Feilding :Kitchener Park. He along with his team have been working hard planting, weeding and building a board walk through the park. very much a work in progress. The public are encouraged to walk through.
It is only a 5 minute drive into our town of Feilding. Manfield is very popular for the motor sports. Kowhai Park is a family friendly park with playground and cricket ground. You can also stroll through the garden and down to a stream. There are plenty of cafes/restaurants in the town. Also a great swimming complex
