Tasteful, well appointed and with added little touches of comfort and consideration that were much appreciated and added to the experience - the music on the old wireless in the lobby, the complimentary fruit and wine and port in the library. Everything was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful

What's not to like about it here?! Loved how central it was!! The building itself had the genuine feel of classic Art Deco vibe which we all know is one of Napier's beloved attractions. That Art Deco style is reflected throughout the hotel which was elegant and stylish.
Located opposite the picturesque Clive Square, Expressotel is 7-minutes’ walk from the waterfront at Marine Parade. It offers modern rooms with flat-screen TVs. Guests enjoy free WiFi.

Interesting art deco architecture.
Interesting art deco architecture. The CBD is very walk-able. Good shops and restaurants; we highly recommend Mister D's bistro. Great central location for exploring the Hawke's Bay wine region.

Attended a concert at McLean Park, Napier is so compact it was an easy enough walk. Great eateries, restaurants and wineries. Also some nice stores although some of them were a bit pricey. So many towns and sights are close to Napier and is appropriate for children and adults of all ages. Warning, you definitely need more than just a couple of days!

Napier is a BIG little town with plenty to see and do and lots of seaside walks and inner cycle pathways to explore. Nicely laid out and good places to eat. The reason why big trucks drive through town centre is baffling as there is a bypass to the port and is noisy and ruins the vibe. The significant gang presence in Napier is concerning, they are everywhere and are rude, aggressive, intimidating and seem to revile in their pathetic existence to annoy others.

We stayed here for the Napier Art Deco festival and the location was perfect with lots of free parking which was a real bonus as the town was very busy and many streets closed for the festival. Wonderful hotel with great staff very helpful and friendly. The room on the 5th floor end of corridor was brilliant with floor to ceiling windows on 2 sides the views were fab - in fact I watched the air display from there and had a closer view than people on the ground! We did not use the restaurant but did have breakfast at the swimming pool cafe opposite which was lovely and the Masonic Hotel which was also great. The location was a few minutes walk from the centre of the town so ideal We would absolutely stay here again but you need to book early for the festival in February - we booked in June the year before!

It's unfortunate that Napier, due to still struggling from the storms last year and the harvest staff requiring lodgings, it is very difficult to get reasonable accomodation. We visited Napier several years ago and absolutely loved it.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Art Deco Masonic Hotel and only wish we could have stayed for longer. The decor and furnishings throughout the building are exceptional, we felt as if we were in The Great Gatsby. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout and our room was delightful. The attention to detail everywhere was superb. The hotel location is fantastic for exploring Napier. We particularly loved the first floor outside terrace overlooking the sea.
A perfect place to relax, unwind and treat yourselves with some luxury. Treat this venue as the main part of your trip, just eat and drink "at home" taking in the views.
Everything was wonderful, all guests commented on the comfort of the beds. There was plenty of room for everyone to have their own space if needed.
Really made our trip to Napier a memorable one
very warm welcome from Angie when we arrived the room was lovely with a spa bath the hotel is full of quirky things as was an old civic building. on site parking and right in the Art Deco area of Napier. easy walk to the town centre

Esther & Tom are delightful hosts. We loved our stay. Every detail from the linens, to wool blankets, to chocolates on the bed. The breakfast was delicious. The place is in walking distance to everything you would want to see in Napier. If you thinking of booking this place the answer is YES.
I have stayed at the Napier Beach Kiwi Holiday Park multiple times and our family and I love it! The staff are awesome and the facilities are great.
I had to make some last minute changes to my reservation and this was no issue at all. Definitely will be back. Thanks guys.
It was my second time ever coming to Napier and the last time was when I was in primary, the place is central to everything that a “new to town” person like me needed, the marine parade, warehouse, town centre etc, it was all exception
This place is our absolute preferred hotel for Napier. Large spa bath in the bathroom, across the road from the beach, always well stocked with snacks, and FABULOUS hosts - can't beat them for excellent hospitality and friendliness!
A very spacious room and clean room. Motel was in an excellent location as is close to some great cafes, restaurants and attractions along Napier's beautiful Marine Parade. The hosts were really friendly and welcoming.
Breakfast was of a high standard with ample choice. The B&B is located in a peaceful residential area but with easy access to attractions in Napier, Hastings and Havelock North. The hosts are welcoming and helpful.
The location was excellent, with all the restaurants within walking distance. Marine Parade/seafront walk, was just in front of the hotel. The room had a sea view from the window and plenty of natural light.
The hotel is in the art deco style of the whole town of Napier and is located right in the middle of town. The room was well laid out and had everything we needed for a short stay.
Cozy, cool apartment in Napier. Decorated in 1930s Art Deco style. Very comfortable. Great host! Easy drive to downtown area. Was able to do laundry. Highly recommend staying here!
I like that the location being in the heart of the Napier city where it is accessible to food options. The hotel manager onsite is very friendly and attended to our needs swiftly.
The food was exceptionally good at the Hotels restaurant, The room had an good view of the Sea. The Hotel was right beside some of the best shopping in Napier.
