The magnificent lake, harbour and mountain views at Taupo Panorama will make your trip to Taupo that extra bit special. This three-bedroom holiday home is spacious, with open plan living flowing out onto the lake-facing deck. Wake up and enjoy a morning coffee on the deck, watching the mist rise off the lake and around Mount Tauhara. You'll love the central location close to everything you may need on your holiday. Taupo Panorama is a 10-minute walk to the supermarket, 2-minute drive to Taupo town centre and a 9-minute drive to Huka Falls. Keen walkers should be sure to climb the majestic peak you can see from the deck - 65,000-year-old Mt Tauhara. The summit walk takes about an hour and will reward adventurers with stunning views of Lake Taupo, Mt Tongariro and of course Mt Ruapehu. After a day of exploring, the large deck is the perfect place to regroup and relax over a BBQ dinner. In cooler months, the fireplace is on hand to keep you toasty warm, and there's Wi-Fi for all those tech cravings and a great selection of board games to keep you entertained! Abel Tasman National Park is the smallest National Park in New Zealand, but it is one of the most scenic. Abel Tasman boasts pristine white sandy beaches, tranquil estuaries and wonderful forested headlands. The Coastal Track is world famous, and visitors can choose to explore it on their own, or with a guide. Other ways to explore the coastline include sea kayaking, yacht, or water taxis. At the southern entrance to Abel Tasman National Park there is fantastic opportunity for visitors to swim with seals.
