An authentic 1950s Farm house all to yourself! Secluded setting, listen to the native birdsong coming from the bush. Clean and comfortable. Fresh new snuggly linen, full kitchen, living space, enclosed garden to relax in. Warm in the winter - newly double glazed, fully insulated, heat pump, plenty of heaters, electric blankets. Perfect place to relax with your family, while biking Southland/NZ, or to base yourself while out fishing on the mighty Oreti River. A garage is available to store bikes out of the weather, and is large enough for small tents to be dried out.
We are delighted to share this farm house with others who are looking for a quiet place to relax while on holiday, or working.
Dipton is a rural New Zealand town. Please ensure you bring all food supplies you may require with you, the closest shops/supermarkets are located in Winton or Lumsden. The Dipton Golf Club is located in the township, green fees can be paid at the club. During the summer, a key to the school pool is available for a gold coin donation. Fishermen are drawn to the area, with the mighty Oreti being known for it's trout fishing.
