The owner Mel was a gracious host. She took the time to talk with us about the history of the hotel. She also engaged in having delightful conversations with us. The decor of the hotel kept its history which made it more enjoyable. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need. We highly recommend a stay at the Royal Mail Hotel.

The owners had done renovations to all of the rooms. They were very personable and they went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The location worked well for us to get to a flight the next morning in Queenstown.
