As hosts, we have traveled to over 45-countries and stayed in countless hostels, hotels, campgrounds all over the world. We love to be outdoors and enjoy hiking, surfing, climbing, exploring new places and learning about culture. We opened a hostel in this part of the Philippines to encourage travel to Mindanao, go to places like Lake Sebu, Samal Island, Bukidnon. We welcome solo, couples, families, backpackers and remote workers to our part of the world.

Property info

Newly built unique lodging types. There is one modernized traditional Bahay Kubo or Nipa Hut with terrace. One more basic nipa hut with fan and a Cool Container studio with kitchenette. There is a very small pool (4feetx8feet) that is good for no more than 2-persons. The pool is more of an outdoor tub. There is also a shared outdoor kitchen and small garden. Stay among locals at Habitat Phase A in Mabuhay Barangay. Located just 15-minutes from gensan proper by motorbike, car or tricycle. This is a quiet, charming neighborhood! There are small sari-sari stores, turo-turo food nearby (cooked food for sale in tiny plates), fruit and vegetable stands and a couple of small bakeries. In the afternoons, the residents will prepare bbqs, snacks and kainin (desserts) sold in front of their homes. Nearby is SM Mall, GFarm, trail to Sanchez Peak (in Barangay Conel), Blue lagoon or Cave.

There are small sari-sari stores, turo-turo food (cooked food for sale in tiny plates), fruit and vegetable stands and a couple of small bakeries. In the afternoons, the residents will prepare bbqs, snacks and kainin (desserts) sold in front of their homes.
