El Nido is beautiful but this dive hotel was unsafe, unhygienic, outdated and uncomfortable. A 2 star rating would be extremely generous. We actually purchased daypasses at a real resort (Cadloa) which helped salvage the days that we planned to spend in El Nido at our hotel when not on excursion tours. There are NO redeeming qualities for this hotel. Staff unfriendly and not helpful, facilities unkept and not maintained, food/meals terrible, insect infestation and starving cats/dogs on sight unsettling and depressing. Just a NO all around.

Lots to see and do. Too many tourists for my liking, but to be expected with great beaches, restaurants and bars to explore. Generally a good vibe. Because the locals are so nice, it seems to put everyone in a good mood.

The location was beautiful.
The location was beautiful. One our first day we got a spa massive for 2 hours. As you are getting massaged you look down into a view of the beautiful ocean and wildlife. The water villa was large and comfortable. All staff were so friendly and helpful throughout our stay. I wouldn’t change a thing about the resort or our experience except maybe staying a little bit longer. We only stayed for 2 nights but I would recommend at least 3 or 4 as there are so many activities offered.JaymieAustralia - 10Scored 10

Thus the views are just magnificent and unobstructed. From the sky bar, the El Nido limestone cliffs look so close at the back, and the sea at the front view looks even closer. What really surprised me is the plant based breakfast/resto at the ground floor. It is the best I ever had. Roughly 30mins drive away to Nacpan beach. The restaurant has really good food. The staff are friendly but there were moments, our requests has not been met. For example, we’ve kindly asked if we can get spare hangers for our clothes. They said yes but it never came.

I had an issue with my return bus to Puerto Princesa and the owner drove me to the terminal himself and got me another bus.
