With a beautiful architecture and an artistic atmosphere, this three-level house located in the city center, a few steps from the Baltic Opera, a park and the P.G. University, is the perfect spot to get to know the city and relax in an eclectic environment. The property contains 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms with showers, independent wardrobes a fully equipped kitchen, a dining area, a living room with TV, a working area and a Garden Room that connects an garden. Wifi included. 'La Jaguara' was completely decorated by the two of us; You will find a lot of elements made of oak wood, also items created by Colombian artisans and many of our own artworks adorning the space. The house has high ceilings, giving the place a feeling of comfort. The windows of the living room overlook the garden, while from the bedroom you can see our family house, place where we live and where we have our art studio, to which of course, you are cordially invited. Our efforts are to make you feel as comfortable with us, as you can be at home.
MAGDALENA & JAVIER We are a married couple of artists who share the love for art and traveling. We were born in Gdansk (Poland) and in Bogota (Colombia) respectively. We met in an artists residence in Spain, but it was here in Poland that we decided to develop and share our passions and talents. Although we create in different styles, we share the nostalgia and love for the Latin American cultural expressions. "La Jaguara" was created out of the desire to create a place unlike any other, where a cozy interior space full of art, creates the perfect atmosphere to relax in the city center. At your and our disposal there is also a beautiful garden with two relaxation zones and lots of flowers. You're welcome to visit us.
"La Jaguara" is located at the "Gen. Hallera 11" street in Gdansk, in the vicinity of the Baltic Opera, the Gdansk University of Technology and the Steffens' Park. It is located halfway to the Old Town (only 10 minutes by public transport) and the beach of Brzezno (all the way with direct bike routes till the end of our street :-). You can also walk to the hipster zone on the Wrzeszcz district and to the legendary "Stocznia" the famed historical shipyard where the past meets a new vibrant night life scene , the picturesque streets of Aniolki or the fashionable Garnizon. The house location is perfectly connected to the main touristic spots of the city, which we encourage you to get to by bike (the path right in front of the house) or by public transport. Nearby there are SKM and city train stops (2 minutes on foot), as well as tram and bus stations. There are also shops and restaurants in the neighborhood.
