Welcome to the Art District of Santurce! You'll find friendly people, colorful and delicious things to do, and foods to eat at 30+ nearby bars and restaurants that Santurce is known for, as well as a virtual living museum of bold murals celebrating Puerto Rico’s landscape and people. Sometimes compared to Wynwood in Miami, or Williamsburg Brooklyn, there is culture and fun available by day and late into the night. 10 minutes from beaches, Old San Juan, and the airport.

You will not find high-rise hotels nor perfectly paved streets providing an expressionless version of Puerto Rico here, and you don't want that. Santurce has a lot of activity so it is not hard to stay around people and avoid conflict if you choose to. PR is one of the safest Caribbean islands with lower crime rates than many other cities in the United States. Everyone has different comfort levels depending on your personality or experiences, you are encouraged to use your street sense and Uber can take you door-to-door if you have concerns. This accommodation has security cameras in front and in common hallways + a Police Station right across the road. There is a Walmart that is within 3-4 minutes away from the house, they do food delivery. Uber is very cheap in San Juan and accessible There are 30+ bars and restaurants within walking distance on Calle Cerra - the Art District
