Botosani, a clean city with friendly people located in northern Romania. Mihai Eminescu Park, former Varnav Forest, is a pleasant place to walk. Also Pietonal Unirea. There aren't many interesting things to see in Botosani city, but the ones that do exist are worth consuming. Please be informed BEFORE the trip what are you like to do, because it is really difficult to rely on local advice.

Town was ok, lots of street traders, predominantly a gypsy area but we weren't bothered at all. They were respectful after we refused. Great restaurant Cherry? Was about 10 mins from hotel very reasonably priced, so good we went there all 3 nights we stayed. Didnt see a great deal of the town itself as our holiday was a volunteering, working one

Town with interesting history and where our relatives came from. We wish the Jewish history was more readily available--it was a prosperous Jewish center for many years. Interesting 19th century architecture. Local people who could speak English, and many who could not, were exceptionally cordial and helpful. Non-touristic in the best sense. Beautiful agricultural countryside.
Hotel Maria is right on a long, central pedestrian park--very nice to join locals walking in the evening and weekends.

The city is really nice, specially the parcs, a lot of nice play ground for the kids.
The city is kept pretty clean and with a huge mall you have everything your need. There is a lot of culture , and the people love to tell you there history.
The local market is made for people to sell there own home grown goods. The flavours are amazing.
Some nice restaurants can serve you the local delicasy.
at first nothing. after seeing the room and space my mood changed. there was a lot of noise with Gypsies and children but everything settled down at 22:15. you feel it is not safe but that is incorrect. it is fine. nice people and helpful they even proposed to but my motorbike inside the lobby. I kindly refused as it is a big bike and a bit complicated to get inside. you can park safely next to the hotel
Hotel is perfectly located at the corner of the park and the main walking street. easy walking to restaurants and other places of interest.it was clean. it has a parking area.nice outdoor pool area with a small garden and bar you can relax.
The rooms were spacious.
If you need to visit Botosani it is a reasonable choice.
The hotel is well organised, good value for money. We arrived late at night, after 02:00 a.m., however the hotel receptionist was waiting for us and arranged fast check in. We got big family room instead of 2 standard rooms. Thank you for that. The room was good and comfortable.
The staff was very helpful. The room and ammenities were very clean and new.
Loved the fact that the room had a terrace acces, perfect to relax after the roadtrip.
Great breakfast options and very cozy terrace in front of the hotel.
Highly recommended overall.
Water pressure and temperature were outstanding!
Cleanliness was top of the range!
Staff from the hotel was exceptional (restaurant staff we could only class them as decent).
Beds were very comfortable and the blackout blinds were 100% fit for purpose.
The location is a hidden gem that exceeded our expectations both regarding the hotel and the restaurant.
The rooms are enormous by any standards and the restaurant is one of the best we have ever tried.
We will definitely come back in the future.
If you looking for a quiet and beautiful place in Botosani, this is the place. The room was very clean. The staff very helpful and polite, also, we
had few reunions at the restaurant and we really enjoyed, great food!
Hotel Belvedere was a nice surprise. Very clean, with clasic furniture, but looking very good. Confortable bed.
Staff was extremele friendly and welcoming.
Breakfast was good, even if there were not so much options.
The hotel is centrally located in a pedestrian zone, close to few commercial places & a park.
The area was calm & quiet despite the little busy area (1st stay was in month of Mar & 2nd stay was in month of May)
We had a business trip and we rested for one night at this hotel. The room size was standard and quite clean. The location is good, close to the center. We had breakfast in the morning and everything was nice.
My favourite hotel I stayed in Botosani is Hotel TEX Club.
