Baan Rim Nam is riverside nestled in the mangroves which remain undisturbed and keep the air cool and sweet. Ian and his team, Maam, Pui and Mimi are friendly and helpful as can be. The property is top notch and spotless. All furniture and fixtures high end. Paddleboards and kayaks are an added bonus. We wouldn't change a thing. PS my name is Ron, not Tracy

Ian, Pui and the team are amazing - this is a slice of luxury at hugely reasonable prices. The location means that there is peace and quiet to relax, no matter what time of day - whilst just a stones-throw from all of your life essentials. Ian’s time in Thailand meant that we had experience and knowledge on-tap - making the whole journey stress-free and painless (much welcomes after a 48-hour journey). The rooms are new and extremely clean - we didn’t see a single insect and all of the mod cons are great. Netflix for those rainy evenings in. As with all builds in Koh Chang, the walls can be quite thin, so the fact that guests remain quiet throughout stays really does help the tranquility and vibe. We wouldn’t hesitate to return!

One of the most beautiful and peaceful place I have every stayed at. The location is perfect with just a short canoe “ride” to a pristine, beautiful Beach. It is about a 10-15 walk to the main road but Ian and his crew can easily book a taxi to pick you up at the door. There is a quaint little family owned restaurant like 2 min away which is right on the ocean. they have kayaks available which we took out to watch the sunrise. With only 4 rooms you felt very much at home especially since the two staff member made sure you had every thing you needed

Best place we stayed at during our months long family trip through Southeast Asia. Just like the previous reviewers describe it. The bungalows are spacious. Very comfortable. With TV's (Netflix included). But the best thing; it's right at the river, with a short paddle to beautiful beaches. When it's high tide you can jump in the river right from the deck. We booked for 6 nights but ended up staying one week more. Our kids got a box with toys to play with. What can i say more.. thanks a lot!

Baan Rim Nam is an amazing little guest house. The location is perfect, on the estuary and a few minutes walk or paddle to the beach. Very peaceful. The rooms are very modern and tasteful. Comfy bed. Television with Netflix. Rainfall shower. staff are so attentive- nothing too much trouble - wet bags for kayak, beach towels and mats. Mosquito repellent. The maid knew what we needed before we did. I cannot recommend this place enough. Hopefully we will be back. ps Lemon massage on the main road is excellent

This was by far the best place we have stayed in Asia over the past 3 months. The setting alongside the sleepy river, the rooms (family 1), the facilities and of course Ian and his wife and the lovely lady who looked after us. She could not do enough to make our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. The breakfast was excellent, we were provided with beach towels and something waterproof to sit on; there were paddle boards, kayaks and canoes. Wi-Fi rect is excellent. They will ask the boat to collect you if you wish to eat at any of the restaurants on the opposite side of the river. There is a great restaurant and bar just 5 mins walk away overlooking the beach which was excellent. we hired bicycles in the village (15-20 min walk) and used them in the evening and to reach the waterfall etc. I would not hesitate to highly recommend Baan Rim Nam.

The most incredible place to stay. The owners and staff are very friendly and helpful. If you need anything they are there for you. Ian can advise you on all the places to go, eat, visit locally. Free to use Kayaks, SUP’s straight from the property visiting a small island off the coast and seeing the sunset. The rooms are extremely well equipped and the most comfortable of our trip. We had such a memorable time, loved every moment and will hopefully return one day.
