Definitely a must see city. Despite the rumors of oriental habits and lifestyle, the city is equal to a european capital in tidiness, cleanliness, architecture preservation, infrastructure and richness of places to visit, dine, shop or just enjoy a coffee. People are polite and friendly to visitors. Grab your backpack and some water and walk as much as you can - you won’t regret.

Istanbul is amazing. I stayed near the Agia Sophia and was close to everything. Would recommend pre buying skip the line tickets for everything except the Topkapi Palace which you can do yourself. You need at least 4 hours there. I did a great trip to Gallipoli and Troy. Great trip. Fabulous food!!!!!SheridanAustralia
