MoroccoToll gelegene Unterkunft, direkt am Tarangire Nationalpark, jedoch in einem WMA-Bereich - Vorsicht bei der Anreise. Als Nachtwächter sind Maasai angestellt. Einer begleitete uns zu einem Spaziergang und zeigte uns einige wilde Tiere. Von unserem Zelt aus sahen wir ständig Affen.
GermanyDas Personal war extrem aufmerksam und jederzeit hilfsbereit. Das von einer Massai-Familie geführte Camp ist sicher etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber - soweit dies in der Wildnis möglich ist - gut gepflegt und extrem sauber. Die Lodge liegt in einer sog. „Controlled Area“, eigentlich kein Unterschied zum nahe gelegenen Nationalpark. Die Tiere unterscheiden hier nicht. Wildlife hautnah ist also garantiert. Wer gern in einem eher einfachen Zelt schläft, während nebenan Elefanten Bäume fällen, der ist hier genau richtig. Die recht gut Englisch-sprechenden Massai sorgen sowohl für Sicherheit und zudem bieten tolle Buschwanderungen an. Sehr empfehlenswert! Das Essen ist eher einfach, die Auswahl begrenzt. Aber alles ist frisch (oftmals aus dem eigenen Garten) und schmeckt.
