Yudee and Joop, are a Nigeria-Dutch couple, who decided to stay on #Zanzibar last year. They designed and built the View of Zanzibar with passion, eye for detail. A cosy place, quiet and style full. They will be around to take of anything you need, organise your tours, lunch, dinners, drinks. We'll make you feel at home.

The View of Zanzibar has 6 apartments (50 m2) , for max. 2 persons, and our top floor , a 140 m2 penthouse. All apartments have their own equipped kitchen, veranda/ terrace, bedroom and bathroom. Built with passion, and with eye for detail. The furniture is very special, and all hand made from an old Dhow boat. We have invested in high speed (fibre) internet speed. From our own experience crucial. Many of us, will need time during the day, to handle their businesses, mails, online meetings, and you’ll enjoy this in the office with the best view in the world. Wake up early, and witness a unique sunrise, your day can not begin better. We will make you feel at home Our team will provide a great breakfast, but for lunch and dinner you’ll need to ask the cook. Our hand made barbecue, pizza, bread oven is there for you. Buy, catch your own fish and “Bring and Braai”. But also our cook and staff will be ready for you, in your apartment or in our backyard garden. Have a drink at the bar or buy your own. What ever makes you feel comfortable. Long stay, short stay, just contact us.

The View of Zanzibar is on the beach, at the edge of the local town Michamvi. Breath taking sunrises can be seen from your own terrace, veranda. During daytime, you will enjoy the "traffic"on the beach, tourists visiting the Rock, kids playing on the beach. The evenings are very quiet and the bar at the back is open till 22:00.
