Located in front of Independence Square, with a truly amazing view from the window. They really pay attention to what guests actually need. Clean and well-maintained. The staff who lives there is a really nice person, hardworking, and takes great care of the place.

The hostel was completely perfect. Location is ten out of ten, everything was clean and fresh. Yelena who was receptionist in the hostel was so kind and helpful even she doesn’t speak english. I recommend it for sure.:)

The staff really doesn’t have any English as the description says. But they are so friendly it is very easy to communicate with gestures. Everything is clean and nice and the staff’s friendliness seems to rub off on the guests. It is a very genial environment. And of course the location is amazing.

The Location is Super Excellent. Right in the heart of the City. Hostel (Apartment) is kept very clean by staff ladies. 3 fridges to store food, plus individual boxes to store non perishable items. Lockers for private belongings, private key to come back at any time. Clean kitchen, organized, and 24 hrs hot water. Sleeping hours are quiet because the staff do enforce the (Stay Quiet Rule) after 23:00. Light and socket next to the bed and under bed drawer for your baggage. Good WiFi connection. The price is affordable. So far in my experience in Kiev this is the best Hostel (Apartment/Guesthouse) I have ever stayed.

Most amazing location ever, could not be better value for a hostel. Good rules but not over the top and the "host" was so nice and helpful. Was a shame I only stayed for a few days. Also heaps more fridge space than I've ever seen at a hostel. And a great view of maiden square.

the location is excellent; the staff is very nice; every guest has his/her own space thanks to magic curtains. In total, Bulgakoff is a quite good hostel for its price.
