Hi there! We're native Oregonians in a family of 7 with 14 grandchildren and counting. Coming from a large family hosting is native to us and we love it! We hope you feel cozy and welcomed in our home as we invite you to be our guest. Lonny and I first built our home 20 years ago and his love for building and mine for interior design of homes has taken us to where we are now. Because we are in the business of hospitality for local and international guests, we take a lot of pride and care in what we do and hope you'll feel this love reflected at each of our properties. Pet policy: We are glad to host your pets too. There is a pet fee for dogs. Any other pets will be considered on a case by case basis- please inquire. We ask for compliance in a few house rules: * Do NOT invite them onto the furniture so we can keep it in great condition for all who are to come! * Do NOT Leave them alone unkenneled. We do offer a Rover Service if you need to be gone and need care for your pet. Ask us about it. * DO NOT allow them onto the bedroom carpets. Keeping the doors closed will make this easy. We just replaced the carpets and want to keep them fresh and pet smell free. When the carpet was pulled up, there were MANY pet stains. All owners say the same thing about their pets. “They are well house trained”. * If you are staying in the properties with floor rugs, please roll them up and put to the side. This is in your best interest. Pets DO pee on the rugs when you not looking. Trust us on this! * Please keep them on wood flooring, use the baby gates provided to ensure compliance. * Let me know if you do not have extra bedding for them, I will provide it to you.

***Please read! There are two different units in this home, the main floor and upstairs is our 3 bedroom apartment, the downstairs basement is our 2 bedroom apartment. You may select both if you'd like the entire right side. Another 3 bed apartment and 2 bed basement apartment is on the left side- please inquire for deals to rent the entire house! Never stay in a hotel again! This apartment is well appointed with popular fun boho décor. Great for business travel, families, friend reunions, or vacation getaways. Our 3 bedroom apartment comes with everything you could need! With a beautiful spacious living room, a full kitchen to cook all your meals in, and a separate dining area this apartment can be yours today. Comprising of two full bathrooms with tub/shower combos, we provide hair dryers, towels, wash cloths, even body wash and shampoo. Stay in for a movie night or take a stroll downtown Albany where you're close to all the action. Plenty of free parking is available both on the street and in the driveway. The two bedroom apartment with a queen bed in the first bedroom and a full bed in the second, is so much larger than just a hotel room. The spacious living room area has a great couch and tv for gathering for movie nights or relaxing after a day at work. The bathroom has a tub and shower combo with all your essentials. Complete with a microwave and coffee maker, this is a "Heat and Eat" apartment which also boasts a mini fridge. This unit is partial below grade, with lots of daylight windows that bring in tons of natural light. The entrance is around on the back of this home. Your private entrance comes with a keypad for your convenience and self check-in. Because noise tends to travel so well in these gorgeous homes, we've tried to soundproof as best we can. Please be aware if the upstairs unit is rented you may still hear some noise. Pets are allowed in the 3 bedroom unit ONLY. Pet rules are listed in the 'About the host' section.

Downtown Albany is a unique and historic place. You will see many cute shops, boutiques, and antique stores. The antiquity of the historic downtown is what makes it special. Being very walkable, you are free to park your car and explore the 100's of shops, restaurants, museums, live theaters, and the historical Carousel and Museum. With the Willamette river nearby, Monteith River-park is home to summer's River Rhythm concert series.
